The Wild MAPs FiT project – European Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Farming, Processing and Training Alliance, aspires to support the development of sustainable wild aromatic plant management strategies as well as user-friendly post-harvest handling practices for various indigenous medicinal and aromatic plant species in local and regional systems food and enable very small farmers, wild herb collectors and rural entrepreneurs to boost their income. To achieve this, the project will connect scientists with theoretical and methodological expertise with professionals and stakeholders who know the value chain of medicinal plant production.

The Cooking Cultures – Migrants' Integration through culinary arts project aims to create an innovative approach to support low-skilled migrants to acquire the formal and soft skills required to work in the culinary sector. Based on the fact that a large number of migrants work in the culinary sector in the EU, as well as the growing interest in ethnic cuisines, the project focuses on targeted training opportunities, which will offer better career prospects for migrants away from undeclared work and exploitation · thereby promoting their sustainable integration into EU host societies.The consortium consists of 5 partners from Turkey, Greece and Austria and has a total budget of €167,960.00. The project Tour2Include – Migrants' Integration into Tourism-Related Professions aims to establish an innovative approach, with the intention of supporting low-skilled migrants who would like to work in the tourism sector to acquire the necessary formal and soft skills . Considering that, according to Eurostat, 7% of the total workforce in Tourism comes from third countries outside the EU (2016 data), the project focuses on targeted training opportunities that will offer better career prospects to migrants away from undeclared work and marginalization.The consortium consists of 6 partners from Germany, Greece and Italy and has a total budget of €218,495.00. The Labor Market Integration Programs project concerns the quick and efficient access of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) to the labor market of the host society (Cyprus). In particular, the project offers work orientation and training programs with the aim of facilitating the path of YTXs in finding a job in Cyprus. The main purpose of the project is to provide general and specialized training programs, personal career counseling and a sustainable mechanism that connects the graduates of the training programs with the local labor market.More than 1,300 third-country nationals have enrolled in FIRST STEP training programs since February 2019, with 300 of them receiving general vocational training. The consortium consists of 6 partners from Cyprus and Greece and has a maximum subsidy amount of €250,000.00.
